    OME is ARB's Old Man Emu suspension setup with shocks, coilovers, and their Dakar leaf spring pack. I'm still running it, and it gets the job done if you're not planning on going too extreme. UCAs are upper control arms for the front suspension, which you will likely need after lifting to get your alignment back and allow for the suspension to articulate a little better (someone else chime in anytime)

    OME = Old Man Emu

    UCAs = Upper Control Arms, something you'll need to be properly aligned if you get near or see 3" + of lift.

    Tires won't get any bigger than a 265/75/16, which you can fit stock without a lift.. to fit something bigger, you'll need UCAs, trimming, and possibly a CMC (cab mount chop) to clear larger tires like a 285, which is probably the most popular size.

    $1600 would just be parts.

    Couple of parts places: http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/ ; : http://www.trail-gear.com/category/1115/ifs-lift-kit-front-rear : toyoto tech etc.

    The vender's area is pretty chalk full of great places to check out prices too.

    If I were you I'd look on these websites and find the exact lift in the price range you want then contact a shop and get a quote for parts/installation. Also call around and you'll get a good feel for what reasonable labor cost will be. After finding something you like you can then start asking for input from people who maybe have the same lift.

    I'm not sure of any good shops in the bay area as I live a couple of hours away but when you look include areas like Livermore and Tracy. Which are a little further away but their costs will probably be more reasonable.

    Or, better yet.. buy some pizza and beer and some of the NorCal locals can probably help with the install or do it while you watch.

    You'd save a lot of coin, and meet some good resources/members.

    There's a lot of guys in your neck of the woods, and the NorCal TW Official Welder is in Cotati, if you need a CMC.
