    Alright boys and girls!

I am having trouble finding a reliable part number for the OEM Tonneau covers that are being installed on the 2017 Tacomas from the factory.

I have a verified part number for the exact same style Tonneau cover for the Tundra, for all of the bed configurations.

I have spoken will my sales manager, parts manager, service manager, as well as friends I have that work at distribution centers and the Port.

I have a box filled with various toyota goodies... hats, cups, pens, stickers, beer coozies, blankets etc.

The first person to PM me verified part numbers for the 2017 Tacoma OEM Tonneau cover, will receive the box filled with Toyota Swag for FREE :)

This is from another thread and you may already have them but I think these are part of it? That might help you triangulate it.

Post from another thread, 4 pages of diagram and part numbers for the whole setup. If I figure how to copy the post over I will.

I spoke with a few parts departments at some localish dealerships. The mounting hardware is about 350, rails run 150 each, so about 350 to 700 if I want to install. It is a 650 dollar option from the factory, not worth it in my book. One guy said he priced out everything needed once, it was about 2500 bucks he said. I am going to give back the cover to the guy who gave it to me, I don't feel right selling it, but if some one is interested I will pass on info to him.

    here are some parts diagrams

I bought the Toyota tonneau cover today from my dealer for a self install. $1140+tax Canadian. Are you telling me they cost $2500 in the States?

It's 650 to add on as a factory option, one parts department guy told me it cost 2500 if I was to order the parts, I have also been told you can not order it as a unit. Honestly, it looks nice but even at 650 I am not sure it's worth it.

They don't sell it because there are other parts that have to change, like the bed rails.

Yeah, not for sale though :)

Was saying that I bought mine for $400 from another member.

Around $500 is the typical going rate if you’re lucky enough to find someone who’s local, selling, and willing to swap rail covers.

And for the naysayers, the $650 port-installed price is absolutely worth it IMO, especially when you consider the cost of any aftermarket folding hard cover

If anyone is local to the MD area I have the cover but not the bed rails. When I traded my truck they didn't allow me to swap out the bed rails but I still decided to keep the cover.

So do they just not sell them because of the other stuff that needs to change? I recently purchased a 17 used and found out about this top after the fact (Salesman brought it out as I was leaving and put it in the back). I tried to install when I got home and noticed it was missing the lock bolt, and the rear panel had a cracked chunk about the size of a softball that had been pieced back together with some sort of adhesive. Do they sell just the cover/lock bolt?

Did you pay for it, or was it a free bee?
