2017 Orders -Waiting Game

Those deals seem good.

My price was $34,689 (plus $17 Title + Tax...all other fees included) for a TRD 4x4 DC 6MT in MGM with Premium + Tech Moonroof (HH), Tow (TO), and all weather floor mats (2T). MSRP of $36,558. Truecar bell-curve suggests I could do a few hundred better, but for a build change/special order, I wasn't going to push it further. My rough calc vs true invoice says this price is about a 3.16% profit for the dealer....seemed fair to both of us. Plus, it got tiring to haggle.

 

I have a 2016 TRD OR DCLB with Technology without JBL, towing and mudguards in Quicksand on order and it's already been 5 weeks. I was told I have about 7 to 19 more weeks of waiting until it is built.
I have a price of $35,591 plus taxes(6.35%), registration($250), and $399 dealer fee puts it at $37,750 after my $750 college grad discount that expired 05/10/16. You think I'd be able to do better with a 2017?

 

What's the list price?

Edit: So does it have not have towing and mudguards either? It's not clear. Just list the options it WILL have.

 

It is a 7568 with Premium and Tech (non-JBL version), towing, and mudguards. Sorry, I thought I made that clear in my post.

MSRP is $38,720 from what I calculated, this includes the $900 destination charge.

I am getting the truck for $$35,567 + $399 Dealer Free + $2,283.85 in taxes + $250 registration - $750 College Grad discount. It will be $37,750 OTD with everything. If I can get a 2017 for that price or even a bit more in the same configuration I would go with that.

 

That boils down to a $2004 discount, which is the discount I got also, if I'm right...That would be sweet to get the $399 bs dealer fee knocked off....Is $250 the normal registration fee in Connecticut?

Like I kept saying order banks opened on 5/1 and Tacoma's will start hitting the dealer lots in August.
You guys could actually learn something if you read and listen to other people instead of thinking you know everything. And the readers in Tacoma land should look back and see who is totally wrong and who knows what's going on at Toyota in future discussions. Seems stupid to keep listening to people who were wrong
