Ridgeline looks like it's got a locking gas door and rear power window. On the titan what in gods name are those capsule containers used for.

It's a good package, I'm sure it will have more success than the previous version. I see at as an all-around family vehicle, not really a truck, but certainly more than a mini-van with a bed.

It will not steal away many truck buyers, it will steal away a lot of mini-van/crossover buyers that will now have a more versatile option, yet still maintain a high degree of car-like comfort. Tacoma sales will be mostly unaffected, it's a different market. For me the Ridgeline is probably a better choice for what I use a truck for, but I have no interest in cancelling my TRD, just because I want it to look and feel like a truck, others will laugh and say "why the hell would you want to put up with that?"

However, if my wife hadn't just bought her Explorer Limited, this may have been a better choice. I'll ask her to look at it and see what her opinion is.

EDIT: No, I don't think I'll ask her. I can see where this could cost me money.

The gap between the box is fake if no one noticed. Here's a shot where you can see that the back window of the truck actually sits on the bed rail so there is plenty of structure between the box and the cab. The fake gap is to prevent panel flexing which was a problem on the last Ridgeline.

I need a barf bag after seeing that ridgeline  :puke:looks like something they'd not only charge money for, but they'd also take your "man card" as payment". I know not everyone cares about how they look driving their vehicle so much as it's practical, but still. The previous one wasn't too bad, definitely not my kinda vehicle at all, but at least I wouldn't hide my face driving it lmao. To each his own though! If you like it and it works for you then go for it!

Interesting. It does seem like they put some more thought into the design this time.

Ridgeline, meh. Titan Warrior XD - that sucker is bad ass. The only thing I don't like is the exhaust tips, otherwise that is one mean looking truck.

Looks exactly like a Hilux to me, too soft for the majority of American truck owners. Nice vehicle though.

Love the first gen Ridgeline, my father in law has 2 of them and he loves them as well. I came damn close to trading my Tacoma for a Ridgeline a couple months back, but the salesman played games and I got pissed. I've been holding out on looking for a new truck, was waiting for this to be official before I made any decision. I will definitely stick to the first gen Ridgeline over this new one. I think I'll be keeping my Tacoma to use for work and play and picking up a Ridgeline for daily commute.

I like it. If it can tow 5000 pound like the pilot and do 0-60 in 6.1 sec like the pilot, this may be a winner if its priced right.
