Your Ram 3500 would look so cute cuddled up next to an International CXT... :D

Its funny when people think a vehicle, in and of itself, is girly or manly.

If Honda could have got 1" more ground clearance putting it at 8.9" I'd say the AWD version is the best midsize on the market. It would still have shortcomings offroad compared to the Tacoma with ATRAC/locker, but it has so many other nice features.

50" between the wheelwells is great to have. Pull the spare out, mount it on the front bedside, forklift a 4x6 pallet with 1000lbs of sod, bricks, pavers, whatever on it directly into the bed instead of hand loading.

It has the best rearseat arrangement by far, you can carry five people to go fishing and put all their tackle boxes and poles under the rear seats.

2-way tailgate, huge watertight bed trunk, 400W inverter, good power and economy. Bed is 64" long, tows 5000lbs, has all the slick tech including a camera on the passenger mirror that shows the blind spot on the screen which I thought was a great feature.

Even at 7.9" ground clearance and limited articulation it's not completely useless offroad with AWD and good tires, but a show-stopper for a lot of folks. I measured that front airdam to the ground - only 8" on the sides, 10" in the middle. That would have to be yanked.

I stand by what I said before. Plenty of dudes drive bugs that don't look like that, those are girly mods not a girly vehicle

That's too easy man... my point was simply if you pack the sausage then you don't have a problem driving the sausage mobile, your picture just provides the situational irony I needed for that statement to be really funny

Thats funny! I had that GMC Canyon and it was just horrible. Off-road it was a 0 on a scale of 1-10. Not what I had thought it would be!!!

I've had them all. 5 different crew cad long box Diesels from both Ford and GMC. A 4500 Duramax GMC Top Kick with a pickup bed. A Ford Ranger and two Tacoma 2WD's. 1-F150 long box work truck. 05 Tacoma Crew. 2016 GMC Canyon and the most recent a 2016 Tacoma TRD. Sure some towed more weight but rode like a brick shit house. Others didn't have 4 wheel drive and still got around just fine but were A LOT easier to drive. Ya know which one hauled the most stuff to my job-sight's??? BY FAR (I'm a builder by trade) it was my 2005 Tacoma Flatbed 2wd Manual. BY FAR!! I had more people come up to me and want to buy that truck from me than any other truck I have every owned. Funny right!!!

Trucks do come in all shapes and sizes built for every specific need. For the vast majority of driving I do I'd rather be in a small lightweight smooth driving quite truck. I don't want 24' long in a parking lot. I don't need 2 ton suspension but for twice a year and I hate 11 MPG. The 16 has been a FANTASTIC truck so far and will be 95% of what I need. The 5% it can do I won't ever fault it for... it wasn't designed to do it in the first place.

    Cheers.

There's actually already a factory approved 2" lift kit available, as well as a much cheaper 1.5" front lift/leveling kit.

If it's like the first gen Ridgeline, 2" is the max you can do. With that said, most people that did the 2" lifts had CV axle issues eventually.

2017 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition: Standard Features –
When it comes to performance, all Ridgeline models are equipped with a powerful 3.5-liter V-6 engine and paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. As mentioned above, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition model most closely aligns with the RTL-E model on the all-new lineup. Both models are set standard with all-wheel drive, which is optional for the rest of the Ridgeline models.

There are tons of driver-assist technologies that come standard on the 2017 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition model as well as the RTL-E model. Drivers who choose these top-of-the-line models will have an added peace-of-mind with these safety features. Each one comes equipped with a Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic High-Beam Headlights and a Blind Spot Monitoring System with Cross Traffic Monitor.

Here are a few more standard features that set the Black Edition and RTL-E models apart from the rest of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline lineup:

    • Heated power side mirrors with memory
    • One-touch power moonroof with tilt feature
    • Power sliding rear window
    • Front and rear parking sensors
    • Heated leather-strapped steering wheel
    • Truck-Bed Audio System
