I have a 2017 4dr Sport with dual climate control and seat heaters. I was rear ended yesterday, and since the accident, the heater-A/C control panel and seat heaters do not light up or work. There is no other issue (other than the damage to the bumper, which tore off the right bumper cover, including the parking sensor and radar proximity box).

I was thinking/hoping maybe it was just a blown fuse, but can't seem to locate the proper fuse under the dash or under the hood.

So ~ now I come to the fine folks here for advice on where to find the fuse or what other remedy may be necessary.

    Sorry you were rear ended....
Could be a fuse and could be just a open circuit. Heaters and the other sensor controls are on the same panel. Could have knocked a wire harness loose.

Any updates? Were you able to figure it out? I'm in a similar situation but my windows don't even roll down

Finally figured it out. Just gonna update this thread so if anyone else runs into a similar problem they have a possible solution. I used a circuit tester to check all the fuses first. Took me two days to figure it out because I'm an idiot and only checked one side of the fuses and not both. I circled the two fuses that were blown. When I was testing it, only one side of the fuse had current and the other side was dead, versus both sides having current or both side being dead.

Just to recap, I lost power to the climate control system, so no A/C, no fan, no heated seats. The TPMS system did not work, outside temperature sensor did not work, all my windows did not roll up or down, airbag light was on, BSM and parking sensors were out. The odd thing was ECT, audio via USB and charging port all still functioned.

Thank you for this thread. I was having the exact same issue, completely out of the blue. No incident leading up to it. Collision detection, lane departure, TPMS alert, no power to windows, no power to climate console. ECU-IG2 fuse was burnt out. I replaced the fuse, and it burnt out again within 30 of starting the truck. Replaced it one more time, and it's been fine ever since. So weird.

Slim_shadowz you are the man for posting this as I am about to drive up to the mountains and need that heat!

ckittel mentioned, after replacing the fuse (10A - IG1-2) mine has blown again but my experience has been after toggling the unit ON & OFF somewhat rapidly; seems I am experiencing a power surge during the button presses. I haven't had any collisions but I recently had the A/C system replaced recently so I wondering if the unit had been disturbed @ the back of the climate control system...?

Anyone have instructions on how to safety remove the climate control unit from the dash or any ideas on where to look next?

I finally tracked my issue down. After replacing the three blown fuses about seven times, we finally figured out the pattern. They world blow while the truck was running and the passenger door was opened up. Any other door, not a problem. Come to find out the @MESO puddle lights I installed ... I did a bad job. While the lights always worked, the installation caused some major pinching of another wire in the massive wire bundle that goes to the door. Caused a wire to get cut and shorted out on the frame (yikes!) when the door was open. Which caused the cascading failure of three fuses to blow.

Was a pita to track down, but it's all fixed now (phew). Note to self, be way more careful next time. Ugh.

New to the forums.........Thanks to all here. Wiped out the passenger side rear plastic bumper and light assembly about a month ago.
Stupid of me to leave the sensor plug behind the bumper open to the elements through 3 snowstorms.
Turned the defroster fan on last week and the climate control lost all power.
No fan and no display and no controls worked.
(A kind lady in the post office notified me that the plug was burning on the rear of my truck Idling outside).
Today I checked the 10A IG1-2 fuse which was burned out.
Y'all saved me days of misery.

Hi guys, wanted to update the thread on the outcome of my situation.

Like I mentioned in the previous post, the A/C condenser, clutch and compressor (pretty much the entire A/C assembly) had recently been replaced by the dealer and after getting a shop to check it out, they determined that the A/C clutch was at fault. Apparently, the system is piston driven and due to low oil in the compressor or the part was defective, the piston would thump when the defroster (enacts A/C) or A/C system was turned ON and then the piston would seize creating an overcurrent situation and thus, blowing the IG1-2 fuse.

Had the dealer replace the A/C assembly and it seems to working OK.

thanks for sharing - great info, saved me a ton of time and headache. I was doing DIY override harness for Anytime backup camera. Well that worked but I ended up blowing this particular fuse.
