Well... my truck has 26k miles on it, and I love that thing, it’s been a sluggish random ride from the beginning though.. and for a reason! It was more than a quart low on transmission fluid, they filled it up, topped it off and it’s been 200% better, but it’s till acts a little strange in the morning sometimes.

Taking it in again to make them check and Trouble shoot, the hard shifting issues are gone, now it just hesitates sometimes when trying to accelerate on a cold start.
You know when it says on the paperwork “all fluids checked” I would assume the trans fluid too!!!

This is a frustrating turn of events because I love the little truck! Hopefully no long term damage was done,

I wouldn't think anything is wrong with it...I've noticed that Toyota engines and transmissions can be quirky until they are at operating temperature.

I’m hoping that’s all it is, maybe it needs more time to acclimate, but that’s a lot of miles to be driving on low fluid.

The thing that sucks is it always drove pretty well the entire time when it was warmed up, but when cold it would hesitate bad, I thought maybe it’s just because it’s the 4 cyclinder... but now that it’s topped off! Oh hell no!
    That thing zips around everywhere!!
It woke the hell up when they added fluid, it feels completely different now.

I’m going to make them triple check it though, luckily my dealer is damn good, and never questioned my issues with it.
They even Gave me their personal numbers and would tell me to contact them anytime.
