Hi guys! New to the forum here, I have had my 2017 Tacoma for a while now with pretty much no issues but now I got a weird one, the door lock/unlock buzzer stopped beeping all together, it was working fine until one day it got louder than normal and now it doesn't beep at all. I have tried replacing the buzzer, no change, I checked for power and ground, I have ground but no power. Is this a problem anyone on here has encountered? From what I can see in the wiring schematics it looks like power is directly fed from the main body ECU

    Thanks for the help!

Having the same issue on my 2017 TRD Sport, no idea what could be the issue. It used to make the sound when locking/unlocking my truck. But all of a sudden it stopped doing it.

Where is the buzzer you replaced? I ask because there are so many buzzers in this vehicle. IIRC mine is in front of the battery.

The BCM ECU does indeed seem to control the buzzer via Connector 1F pin 29. A very small yellow wire. This is sort of accessible in the wire bundle to the left of the internal Fuse block. That is where I've cut into my yellow wire to selectively silence the buzzer with a switch. Access for testing to see if any signal leaves the BCM could also be done at Connector 1F. You will need a VOM and you might be looking for a DC or an AC signal - do not know.
