    My comment was for the masses that don't know how to nor react to what you said as a solution during panic situations.

    I would agree with you, it is not difficult at all. Turning the key to the off position would have been worse as then you lose your PS and power assisted braking and locking up your driven wheels if transmission is still engaged.

    They are not failing on that platform AFAIK whether or not its the same manufacturer. Since you own the same glorious truck, why don't you go find out for yourself?
    I kept the tundra because it was reliable which I can't say the same for the turd gen.

    Toyota accelerated time to market because of competition and are sweeping the shit under the rug.

    Just an FYI to anyone out there who is interested. The whole floor mat/sudden acceleration issue was 100% BS.
