Clearly I don't understand that every Tacoma owner is present on this thread. Clearly I didn't realize that folks like me could screw with your online poll. Clearly I don't understand how accurate media polls are. Clearly I don't understand how easy it is to squew a poll. Clearly my A in stats doesn't mean shit. Clearly my A in Calculus doesn't mean shit. Clearly we will not agree on what that skewed poll on a forum where folks come to learn about how to fix their Tacoma means.

Clearly I don't think that poll means anything other than Toyota is having some issues and I am still exited and can't wait till I get my BRAND NEW FUCKING PIECE OF GREAT BUILT TACOMA

2017 sport DC4x4, so far I have Chirping noise when the Direct injectors kick on to clean (same as the FRS/BRZ) I think they need to change out the High pressure Fuel Pump..... and the truck was shifting really hard up to and down to 3rd. The Trans Fluid was checked and said to be full but im not sure they know what they are doing as they told me they needed a special tool to check the fluid and it wouldnt be there for 3/4 weeks then called me back the next morning to tell me that they messed up and the tool is to check when at hot temps. When I put my car in Aux mode to listen to the battery the check engine light comes on and tells me to check the charging system ( they said that was normal???) I call bs. why would my check engine light come on. The car changed the idle from 500-1000 when the ac compressor kicks on and its very rough. This is the only car that I have ever noticed the compressor kicking on and off every 30 seconds and raising the idle 500 rpm.... So when I just bought my brand new truck for 41k and put several more into it... I want it to run as it was supposed to and not have me breaking down or dropping it off every other day to fix something or ask why my check engine light is on.

No, I didnt get to pull another one out to check but if it is normal then.... its fucking retarded to have the check engine come on while trying to listen to the radio with the engine off. I need to know if its just mine. I push the ignition button twice to bring on the radio and power then I get the check engine... Do any of you get this when you have the radio on without the truck running?

Claims A in calculus and statistics but can't use proper grammar or sentence structure. You win bud. You're so fucking awesome what do I know. I only have owned 5 Tacomas and like you have plenty of experience in math and science, natural science and mathematics major with 3 degrees and working on my 4th. But you're right. Stupid me.

I didn't say I was a English major. Nor did I say I have multiple degrees. You are the one who was calling others intelligence and math skills into question. Clearly, I was just informing you that you are wrong about my math skills.

What's funny is, I think we both agree that some of these trucks have issues. The difference is your pissed that yours is one with issues and you want to express that anger. Good news is there are shit tons of polls on here you can go vote to get that anger out.

Once again, people need to contact consumer reports and national highway safety, consumer protection agency or what ever else you can think of, put pressure on Toyota to get shit fixed.

My math is no more wrong than the assumptions your making about the poll bud. I've said NUMEROUS times I love my 16, but I won't bury my head in the sand and say it's build quality isn't sub par compared to all the other tacomas I've owned in the initial 3 months ive owned mine. It sounds like your new to Tacoma, congrats it's a great truck, but the new Tacoma has issues and not just a few among a few people, whether trivial or big like the rear diff there are more than a few on here with issues and most of us have already addressed with Toyota as you have mentioned. This forum is for educating others and discussing things like this. And I know we all like to think that most Tacoma owners are on here or mod or even know how to work on their trucks that is not the case. So yes when you consider all the issues voiced on here and extrapolate that over the owners who a) don't care b) don't know c) aren't TW members the numbers lead to more than just the "few" on here likely with these issues. I hope your 17 is not one of them.

I never questioned your math, I stated that The 38% is skewed based on the population surveyed. This will be my 3rd Tacoma, and yes I have high expectations and hope to hell yota doesn't let me down. Thanks for the good wishes.

And I no way would I want anyone to not speak up about thier issues, that's why I came here. I wanted to research what folks thought about the new Tacoma. I am one of the ones who are not mechanically inclined so to speak. I want to know what to look for, I will expect Toyota to stand behind their product.

I had an "A" in college algebra about 20 years ago. Do I need to settle this?

2017? I cannot believe Toyota did not address these tow issues. I am losing respect for Toyota one issue at a time. We already went to the CRV after two RAV 4s for the wife. If I start having issues I will sell and buy a Honda Ridgeline. I don't mind the idea of having a bed in a vehicle that rides like an SUV, Unibody Body on chassis makes little difference to me and the way I use the truck.
