    Hey There!
This is my first post other than my "New Member" post.
I recently made a few changes to my truck.

    3" leveling kit
    18" wheels
    33" tires
and a few other cosmetic changes.

Now id like to bump up the performance a bit.
I have a Pedal Commander on the way.
Im also considering a K&N series 77 CAI and a Cat back exhaust.
With these 3 mods, can I expect much upgrade in the way of performance?
    And if so...How much?

Thanks in advance for all the input and help.

Maybe enough to offset the weight of your wheels and tires to make the truck feel stock again in regards to acceleration and power.

The general consensus on the website is that the truck comes from factory with a CAI. Gains would be from increased airbox size and filter media, so probably not much there.

Cat-back is minimal, depending on the brand. I think people mostly do it for sound, not performance. I'd say <5 HP.

Pedal Commander I thought was entirely for throttle response and not horsepower. But I could be wrong and someone will jump in if that's the case.

True, the pedal commander is only for throttle response. Not sure why I even added that to the performance part of my post. Getting old sux!!:notsure:

I also just read a thread on the K&N series 77. Its not very well regarded. Apparently it just makes a bunch of noise.
Im old and really dont need a bunch of noise unless I upgrade the stereo.
So it seems as if I will scratch the idea of CAI and exhaust. Hopefully the pedal commander will help with the lag from the weight of the wheels and tires.

    Thanks for the input,,,
