2017 SR5 Lift Kit - Help me out!!

So I just picked up a 2017 sr5 and am coming from a mustang. I am familiar with suspension lowering but this will be my first time lifting a vehicle. I will be doing everything from highway driving to city driving to some offroading. The offroading I will be doing is nothing crazy, I just want the ability to do some exploring and get anywhere I want. I am thinking a 2-2.5" lift and going to 17s with a 32 or 33 inch tire.

I have read that the Bilstein 5100 kit with AAL is a good route to go but I don't mind spending the extra money on a nice King kit. I am also not sure if I will be doing bumpers or not, and I think that makes a different for the strut valving and spring rate I go with? For tires I don't necessarily need anything crazy wide, just something that will do the job and not rub.

Any suggestions on some good lift kits and tire setups that will fit my needs would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime I am going to do some more research and edit this post with some other ideas I can come up with. Thanks everyone!

 

Try posting in the 3rd Generation forum. There's lots and lots of threads about lifting.
