    People who have problems are FAR more likely to go on a message board and rant as compared to people who have not had any issues. There are literally millions, maybe 10's of millions 3.5 V6 engines on roads all over the world. As far as the "legacy" of this engine, it is yet to be told but given it was put in Tacomas starting in 2016, I'm certain there are 250K+ mile trucks, already on the road, that have had no major engine issues.

    My 03 threw a rod about a year after warranty ended.....pissed me off :rofl:
