    Hello,

Been having a few issues with the truck lately and everytime I bring it in to have it inspected they state that everything is fine....such as clunking body mount bushings or clicking brake pedal or water pouring in from my rear top brake light (they fixed that one). But lately I have noticed oil stains on my vehicle frame on both sides near the front tires. I mentioned the oil to them last service visit and they said nothing is leaking, but now my AC doesn't blow as cold as it used to and I am wondering if this could be related and might be compressor oil. Here are some pictures of oiled areas. I am no mechanic, I know the basics but need some direction. Thanks so much.

Something is definitely seeping. Really not much in that area, except perhaps the A/C drain hose. You may be on to something

Actually - is that on both sides? If so, not the a/c drain

Yes, both sides. Not the AC drain. Brought into dealer this morning...on the way there the truck was blowing very humid warm air when AC was on and set to lowest temperature... Pointed out the oil stains to the Advisor also.

Get a call after 4 hours saying they have not yet found a leak and the system is cooling properly but they are going to run more tests.

Honestly, I would not drive 45min to drop my vehicle for inspection if I didnt think it needed it. Its supposed to be in the upper 90s next week and I really do not want a BS answer about how its working properly and how the oil stain is "normal" like the previous dealer said.

I have a shit ton (more than in your pic) of oil or whatever we're calling that on both sides of my truck. Curious if they tell you want that is.

Dealer calls back at 5pm... "We checked everything on the system and it is running as normal...okay, I figured that would be the case as usual but thankyou, what about the growing oil stains on the frame on both sides?.......yes, we inspected that too and that also is normal..."

I get that there are certain protocols that need to be followed to look into issues but jfc I am tired of getting the "that's normal" answer about everything.

Picking up truck tomorrow before heading to the cabin...will keep this open, hopefully someone has an idea.

Condenser in my truck took a shit. It started blowing cool air from the drivers side and warm from the passenger side. Have been a few complaints of AC problems by other members. Ask them if they put a dye in the system to be able to verify a leak.

I asked them if they put dye in and they said NO. I asked why and he stated the computer system did not detect a leak... I said did you check the condenser because I am having that SAME issue. Again, they said No because the computer said there is no leak in the system...

    This is ridiculous.

Getting the truck in the morning, If the issue is still there. I am going to contact corporate on this one...

On Fords at least, the A/C system has dye from factory. Will light up like the predator’s blood in UV

Just had a leak on my 2016 trd sport. They found it at a connection on the condenser. I had the issue of passenger side having no cool air and hissing and whooshing sounds inside the dash ducts. Problem fixed and it’s blowing very cold air now. Only charged an hour labour and $140 for the Freon top up. Damage was $280 Canadian. They replaced an o ring on the connection as well.

Sorry for the delay, life has been a little. Wild. So my truck exhibits all the details and signs to have the TSB performed. But the Advisor wouldn't do it... let me tell ya.. she was not a bright individual... she did not know how to even turn the AC on in my truck or how to turn the fan up... the tech did recharge my system and it blows way colder... I contacted corporate about their dingbat employee... well see... again...
