    I get it. Trust me, I have complaints with my turd gen TRDPOS. But to praise the Ridgeline and bash the Tacoma in a "truck" segment is ridiculous. I'm not going to get into because no explanation is necessary, and it as it has been beaten to death here.

    I don't disagree. I just read the other day actually that a similar phenomenon happened with the second gens. Still tons of 05 an 06s kicking.

    The 2nd gen was a revolutionary redesign from the 1st gen. The third gen is an evolutionary update but there were nowhere near as many issues with the 2nd gen when it rolled out as compared to the 3rd gen first couple of years.

    True. My wife and I went through 8 new cars in 10 years. Longest was my jeep hemi 4x4 commander limited, put 50k miles on it. Shortest was a VW Eos that I bought for the wife. Got rid of it after 6 months. Now that we have our Tacoma and 4Runner, I'll be happy to keep these till I die if I can keep them running.
