    There's 250k 3rd Gen Tacomas on the road..there's not even 1000 complaints

I did learn that the number 1 complaint is 2009 tacomas and the radio randomly shutting off..

Compare the number of complaints from third gen to other 2nd gen years! There's almost as many now for the 2016 as there are for an 8 year old model!

I think they mentioned something about Owner Reliability Surveys, so they probably had seen a spike in issues.

This is probably true though from what I've seen most complaints are petty or unrealistic expectations.

Exactly. There's certainly a correlation here.... people didn't just all the sudden stop and then start caring about their tacoma issues from 2010 to 2016. Comparatively there's been a huge spike in complaints on the 2016

Several Years back Consumer Reports changed the way they do Reliability Rankings because Owners of Fords were having problems understanding the MySync Radio System so they gave them bad Reliability Rankings. They realized that had no impact on actual Reliability of the Vehicles and changed the rating system.

    No more Turd-gen :)
This is a futile effort on both sides.
The people that think these trucks are epic piles of shit will continue to do so.
The people that think these trucks are the best thing that's ever happened to humanity will continue to do so.
Isn't this like the 4-5 thread just like this? I'm too tired to argue back and forth about it much more.

You would think in an Enthusiast Forum that there would not be nearly so many complaints about this truck.

What do you think about this truck? Oh wait nevermind

but how many "enthusiasts" complaining about the 3rd gen do not even own one? Quite a few, from what I see.

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
LOL, keep it coming...I didn't complain, all I did was copy and paste from an article I read....my comment was spot on I, "this can't be good" was more a reference to the report and what future possible new owners may draw from the article.

But keep it coming, I am totally enjoying the shiza storm...

Seems like a lot of guys here bitch and moan about Colorado's and that silly Ridgeline but I bet the majority of them do not own one either.

Would be a better forum without all the older gen envy haters.

I had a gen 1 Tacoma. This one is better in every aspect.

I drove a gen 2, and would say this one is on par and better in certain aspects due to upgraded features.

Some people got shitty Tacomas, sucks for you guys and I too would be mad. I mainly don't get the older gen guys whining in this forum.
