I am buying a 2017 Tacoma Off Road 4X4 that we want to tow behind our motorhome. We have to retro-fit it with a Remco Transmission pump and a transmission disconnect. My concern is that since 2016 there seems to be some issues on how to check the level of transmission fluid.

Is there a reason for me to be concerned with this retro-fit? It appears that the transmission issues has a fix with Toyota.

Anyone out there have a 3rd generation Tacoma (automatic trans.) that has turned it into a TOAD vehicle. Any information would be greatly appreciated before I make this big purchase.
