Did you have to pull the seats to get the bin out?

Also, does anyone have advice for routing all of these wires??? Getting the speed wire and RCAs to the HU is looking pretty difficult, I’m out of room on the drivers side kick panels

Same amount of room as the driver side I believe. I’ve got 4awg power run down the drivers side and 2 runs of speedwire down the passenger side. If you haven’t gotten too far, I would suggest something like these. All 6 RCA’s bundled into one

Lols of 4-ch options as well if you don’t need 6

Okay I’ll crack that side open then I’ve got a 4 rca bundle and a 2, which is saving me some space. I’m trying to keep the amp under the drivers side seat and I’m working on cramming a 10” preloaded box behind the drivers rear seat.

Right now I have the 4+2 RCAs on the drivers side and 4awg power. I’ll send the speed wire down the passenger side.

Should I go under the carpet to get over there or through the rear channel?

I’d either do the rear channel or along the bottom of the back wall. Under the carpet just allows too much room for damage. All it takes is a big heavy box to crush it then you’ve got shorted wires and have to pull it and re-run new wire (ask me how I know )

Got it done, tried on the bottom the first time but the sub box and passenger side storage were interfering with it. Ended up routing through the channel, got the amp all tidied up under the driver's seat. Everything worked first time i fired it up.

I had to guess a bit on where to tie in the amp turn on signal because if the idata maestro I had installed, but it looks like I cut the right wires haha. Next project back there is going to be adding a front camera. I'm having trouble finding info on that. Aftermarket HU + maestro + front cam, I'm fairly sure I can't do the front camera mod some people have been doing with their stock HU for two reasons. First Is I don't have a stock deck second is i'm out of room behind the HU for any more boxes.

The one thing I didn't get to was removing the factory tweeters. I need to pull them out and splice them together, They don't contribute too much to the overall sound but what the do contribute is just distorted garbage.

avh-w4400nex, maybe I can just plug the front camera into the "other camera input" just not sure where to get switched power from. The installation manual from pioneer is garbage.

yep you will use the other video input. As for power, you need to grab accy power (the red wire.) The maestro accy output is rated for 10A I believe so plenty to power a camera. Then you can set that camera input as an input on your main screen to go straight to the camera view
