Do we have any information in regards to the 2017 Tacomas yet? Any updates or changes to issues with the 2016 model year? Any new colors?

Appreciate your response...never understood why some of the guys on this forum are such dickheads. Not all...just some.

Seems odd they're shipping next month but no one knows a thing about them.

I'm stuck in a position where I can get a 2016 for $1000 over invoice and they'll order it however I want, or I wait for a 2017. I just don't know what to do!

Well, we already know that the TRD Pro can come in Cement Gray. and all the normal colors black, white, MGM, silver and probably Barcelona Red. Question is the Blue, Inferno and Quicksand. Probably Cement is replacing Quicksand. One could only hope for Mica Green.

If Cement DOES replace a color or become part of the normal lineup, it might be worth waiting for....I would assume that's a TRD PRO Exclusive color

There actually hasn't been much chatter at all about the regular 2017 line up. Sure, lot's of Pro discussions, but that's not what the OP is inquiring about so moot point. I'd like to see some info on what's to come as well. There haven't been any PRs or info released from Toyota afaik.

I'll leave this little nugget here as well. Sure it's old, but still stands today...https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/my-halftime-speech.66102/

Guessing not, production should already be ended to allow for making 17's.

What you order they'll scour the country to try and find 'close', then they can add on smaller bits that are available as Toyota parts.

So. You could get lucky and get exactly what you want. Or not.

If data is available on the '17s, the dealer should know it, to allow for accurate pre-orders.

My guess is the '17's as a whole will be the same trucks, cost more, and have a color or two added/deleted. Other than some special packages like the Pro, or maybe some minor repackaging of accessories. Usually to make you buy stuff you don't want to get something you do.

    Best of luck!

My dealers don't seem to know anything here in oregon yet. I was hoping they'd make changes to all the small TSB bulletins from the factory on the 2017 which is always nice...first model year always have little bugs that slowly get fixed. I'd also like to know if MSRP is going to increase on 2017 vs 2016 - if its another 2k, then I need to rush to grab a 2016

That statement is incorrect. The PRO will come in only three colors

Wow, I would love to see how a green looks. At the moment, I'm pretty sold on Inferno, but I'm waiting on a couple things, one of which is what, if any, changes are announced for 2017s.

The 2017 Tacoma will be basically a carryover with the exception of MSRP adjustment and the addition of the TRD pro in select colors. The official Toyota press release is around 8/15 I think.
The 2017 model year will run for 13 months of production . 2018 orders start 6-4-17 and will have many updates , tech and safety mostly.

You mean the 2017 will be a carry over from the 2016. So I guess this means hood vibration, low transmission fluid, erratic shifting, Entune system auto shutdown, and a host of other pain in the aZZ problems With that said, I am still buying one

Barcelona red is an interesting choice for the pro in my opinion.

Do you work for a dealer? Just wondering how certain you are that the 2018 will have some changes, even if they're minor. I was originally going to wait for the 2017s, but if the 2018 will have updates I'd be willing to be more patient. Thanks in advance.
