Looking at buying a 2017 Tacoma for $29,000. It has 65,000 miles, looks like the last person was an off-roader. It’s got pretty much all the essential upgrades including new bumpers, side steps, off road wheels and tires, as well as a nice leer cap. Probably $7-10k in after market mods.

Salesman said lack of photos is cuz they’re still working on it and it has a lot of electrical issues, probably jerry rigged the lights that are all over. My question is whether to be too concerned, hoping it won’t mess up the car too bad and not be too expensive worst case.

Not sure if I should be worried long term or if a $1-2k fix could pull out all the crap he installed the novice DIY way. I’m also pretty handy, no real experience with cars and electrical though.

What y’all think? Would you roll the dice?

Welcome to TW…Personally I’d steer clear of it and keep looking, hard telling what other issues it might have.
