    Good: no radar sensor nonsense, aka less things to malfunction or break in the future. Very reliable drivetrain and transmission (regardless of wacky shifting points). The rust issues of 2nd gen seem to be fixed properly from the factory.
    Bad: transmission logic, easily fixed with a TSB. Not sure if it’s any different from 2018+ models. Some poor quality parts I.e. very easily scratched plastics and gauge cluster. Mines only 2 years old and lightly used and all the plastics are scratched to hell, it makes no sense.
    Ugly: Tacoma world will take your money and morale, and make you hate your truck with made up issues.

    Congrats man! Besides some whistling from the front and howling from the back (which is apparently "normal"), I love mine and have had 29,000 trouble free miles.
