I see tons of post with other size rims and tires. Just wondering if anyone has tried larger sizes on the stock 18s that come on the tacoma limited. I like the falken wildpeak A/T3w tires and they are available in 265/65/18 and 265/70/18. I know the 65s will fit but curious about the 70s with keeping suspension stock.

I really wonder if very many keep the stock 18s. I imagine for the ride quality many do down to 17s or even 16s.

18's are a comfortable ride imo. I'd be interested in the answer too, as i have a 2018 Ltd on stock 18s. Can't imagine there is a huge difference from 65 to 70. Maybe some cosmetic plastic surgery if you get a rub. Interested to know how you get on.

I have just swapped out the OEM tires in my ‘17 Ltd with Cooper ST Maxx in 265/65/R18 and there is no rub.

Are they close to rubbing or do you think one size bigger would fit. 265/70/18's ???.

Also thanks for the other replies I thought my thread was dead!!

On a tire calculator the 275/65/18 are a little shorter but they are also a little wider than the 265's

265/70/18 will rub. 265/65/18 is the same size as 265/75/16, the largest you can go without a lift.
