2017 Tacoma power loss

Question for anyone that has had this issue,My truck will loose power while driving every once in a while it’s like it loses the Throttle response and if I pull over and slow down then it goes back too normal the only thing added is a pedal commander I was thinking maybee the camshaft position sensor could be the problem

 

What do you mean by “truro title response”?

 

Welcome to the forum. In the past there have been reports of the Pedal Commander causing problems. I suggest that you disconnect it and take a drive.

I actually have experienced the same issue you are referring to and I don't have a pedal commander or anything added to my truck and I started noticing it about 2 years after having my truck. I have taken it to the dealer numerous times and they always tell me they can't reproduce the issue and they have had no one else complain of the same thing.

I have been dealing with that and then what i feel is my transmission playing games and almost not knowing when to shift to 2nd and 3rd gear for some time now. The transmission thing really bothers me because i know there is something wrong but again they tell me the issue cant be reproduced and nothing is wrong.
