    While rebuilt title might not mean much regarding reliability, but if the truck has been that deep in the water? Not a chance I would consider buying that truck.

    FWIW, my dad only buys rebuilt vehicles. 2 Nissans, 1 Subaru and 2 Toyotas. None of them have been in deep water, he had no mechanical issues with any of them. Only had issues with mismatched paint, rattles, missing clips etc.
