2017 Tacoma radio and accessory stays on while truck off?

Hello I was hoping that someone on here could.maybe point me in the right direction.

Today I had to reinstall my aftermarket sub amp that I have running offthe stock intune head unit.when doing so one of my power wires(12v or remote wire touched something metal under the seat, I didn't have a fuses blow but now when I completely turn off the truck/key out of ignition my radio and accessories stay on as well as the screen on the cluster,also i cant lock my doors with my fob? .I'm having to unplug my battery so it's not dead when I start the truck.

Anyone have this happen that solved this issue, any help would be appreciated

 

Unfortunately, I think you found out why you always disconnect the battery before doing any kind of electrical work.

Something got hurt when you touched the power wire to ground

 

You have it hooked up to an 'always on' fuse.

 

I just helped a friend with something similar. Do you have something plugged into the cig lighter that is looking for a charge? Like an iPad or phone charger? Try unplugging that

 

Nothing plugged into the ac/cigarette port

 

Sometimes you can fix by disconnecting power from the negative battery terminal for 30 minutes. That allows any small-but-persistent power to drain and resets devices that have "bad" settings.

 

I have to disconnect the battery so it won't be completely drained when i return and it stays the same

 

Undo whatever you just reinstalled. But do it with the battery disconnected this time (for safety).

With the reinstall undone, battery reconnected, is the problem solved?
