2017 Tacoma rear whining noise....

    Hi I have 2017 TACOMA offload and recently noticed a low whining noise from rear at around 50 mph. I took it Toyota and they also heard and said they have to replace the leaf springs in the Rea along with some other parts... My question is has anyone else heard of this and how can leaf springs cause this noise.. There was a service bulletin posted for this at Toyota.. baffled

    Just had mine done. It fixed the whine about 90%. Its much quieter now. It has something to do with resonance. Weird I know.
