    Goodday Tacoma Peeps.

I recently bought a used 2017 Tacoma v6 sr5. I notice that every time I turn on the ignition there is pump noise comming from underneath the seat. On inspection I notice that there is a small unit similar to a tire inflator is fitted under the seat with some hoses. The unit has a mark that says it is an 'Airlift '. I am assuming that this is an air system for the seat. Not sure how this function. Any info would be appreciated.

Airbags for the rear suspension likely.

Take a look under the truck at the rear springs and see if there's bags attached.

There may be a way to set the pressures and regulate them if thats the case.

You are correct, truck is fitted with Rear Air Bag Suspension. Just have to figure how to adjust it
