I am having issues with my 2017 Tacoma transmission when I first run the truck in the morning. It seems like the transmission slips for a brief moment then it is good for the rest of the day. I took it to the dealer it only has 3900 miles and the dealer checked it but could not find a problem. they then called Toyota service direct and found out this truck was built in Baja CA and there were customers complaining about transmission issues. Long story short they found that the transmission was all but a low. A buddy of mine also said that you can have the transmission sensor reset by the dealer. Has anyone ever heard of this??

Yeah, had that shift flare once per day. Dealer applied a TSB and I haven't felt/heard it since.

    What does this mean...??

Was it low or wasn't it..?? I doubt they checked it as it's a process that takes time and they will not do that unless being paid..!!

My 2017 also did that. The dealer fixed it with an updated TSB.
