An all-new 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro is coming to redefine a proven off-road platform—and rule the roost. With a wider, higher stance, a heritage-inspired TOYOTA grille, and contrasting black details, this truck isn’t afraid to show off its wild side.

Backing up this attitude is the performance you would expect from Toyota Racing Development (TRD). We’re talking all-new FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass shocks tuned by TRD, Rigid Industries® LED fog lights, aluminum TRD front skid plate, Baja-inspired TRD alloy wheels wrapped with Kevlar®-reinforced Goodyear Wrangler®All-Terrain tires, and an available 6-speed automatic or manual transmission.

So whether you’re conquering the Alaskan wilderness, or just tackling your local trail, this pickup is ready to help you rule it all. (http://www.toyota.com/)

Really though, this could be more of a "Show us your TRD Pro" thread later on. Kind of like the "Show us your Silver Sky, or MGM, or Barcelona Red Tacoma" threads. But yeah, this is a large forum. It's going to happen.

So who did Rigid sleep with at Toyota to get that tacky advertisement stuck to the bumper? Yuck.

grill and suspension is kinda nice, but not anything you can't beat for less with aftermarket parts.

It'll probably be like a $50k truck. Can get better aftermarket parts than that.

I will add the TRD Pro Parts to our website as soon as there in Toyota's System. Make your TRD 4x4 Into a Pro for less Money.

The Grille will be a popular seller as well as the Wheels skid plate and 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro Emblems.

I will also post part numbers as soon as they are online as well.

They did say it was just a rumor but hey, I can hope!

    Engine
The 2017 Tacoma is likely to be motorized with a 4-cylinder engine with the 2.7-liter displacement to get the adequate power of 159 horsepower and a sufficient twist of 180 lbs per foot.
The subsequent optional mill will be a V6 motor with the 3.5-liter displacement to deliver the maximum power output of 280 horsepower.

A six-pace mechanical transmission will be combined with these two engines to offer better performance and fuel economy.
Consistent with rumors, it would also be ready with a diesel mill from Cummins with the 5.0-liter displacement, thus making it to offer the record functionality and pace. The 2017 Toyota Tacoma fuel economy is likely to be surely more than the present Tacoma. So, the city mileage would be 19 mpg, whereas the highway mileage is anticipated to be 25 mpg.

Only question I have about the TRD Pro is what size are the tires? I would guess 32". Seeing as the amount of lift Toyota gave it is exactly what I'm looking for, the tire size seems to work with it, and that's about what I'm looking for.
