    Howdy All,

I've been a proud Toyota Truck owner since my first one a 1995 Toyota 4x4 Extra Cab (sweet blue color one) which I put almost 300k miles on before switching to a 2004 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab(grey/silver color) in 2004, then upgrade again in 2008 to an '08 Tacoma Double Cab (cool blue one) which I loved. Then sadly upgraded again to a 2013 Tacoma Double Cab TRD Sport but in black this time which I turned out to really hate... the color not the vehicle as well did my wife.

In Sept 2016 my wife was in a car accident and we had to go for a new van for her. We went to our Toyota Dealer who I and my family have done business with since the mid 90's. Anyhow they had the purdy blue color back in 2017 single cab Tacoma's and Tundra's. Neither of which I wanted. I had told the sales guy if only they had a Tacoma Double cab with all the same features I had or better and could get my payments the same I'd be sold. Sadly they didn't. The next day the sales guy called my wife and told her have me come in. As I got there I saw there truck with new shipments and low and behold a Amazingly Beautiful 2017 Blue Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab was there all wrapped up and waiting for me.lol

Holy crap sorry about the novel I got carried away... anyhow getting back to topic I've upgraded the interior lights to LED's which is a huge improvement. I have the LED's for the license plate thing I didn't get a chance to do them before the weather turned to crap as I couldn't figure them out and by the time I did winter had come.

I've been looking at changing out my headlights and fog lights for either HID's or LED's or a combo of the both. I'd like to avoid having to do a lot of splicing and other unfun and more time consuming stuff then I need to. So from what I've found generally LED's seem the simpler of the 2 to use to do this.

I've now run into some things that I have read and have me worried about conflicting things, from Amazon.com these won't fit your truck thing when some things do, then descriptions of things saying they would fit my truck or type of light bulb etc. I'm not confused and would love some help with factual info.

I would really like to go with Blue/Blue-ish light from the High Beams/Low Beams and Fogs. I would like to hopefully get some nice bright working lights. I live in North Idaho and have fun winter driving in the winters and all sorts of animals and such at night or even day around.

I've run into an issue with my high beams and they are H9's and don't seem to really have much choice beyond basic bulbs. The H11's I've found a bunch of stuff on but then run into conflicting info as far as will the fit or not without modding or whatever. It's seems after a video I watched with someone with a 2017 Tacoma there isn't much rooms from where the bulb goes into the hole and LED's seem to have a fat butt for the cooler and what not so doesn't seem like they'd fit. I've not checked out the fog lights yet.

I'm not apposed to just overhauling the lights and putting ballists and what not in but was hoping to avoid adding additional stuff. Wanting more of a "plug and play" type as what a lot of them say but whether that is actually true or not I don't know.

Lastly I saw on here about replacing Turn Signals and break lights etc with LED's I'd like to see what lights I would need for that as well not sure if the 2016 Tacoma & 2017 are identical or not.

PS - I will post some pics up of my truck, to show what is ment by Star Wars Edition and I've done some minor mods to it like blacking out the chrome stuff except for the front grill which I'm in process of researching options for and currently leaning toward having a local company spray it with bedliner stuff the only thing I'm not sure on yet is if the lining will be to thick to them put the pieces back on correctly or not.

Thanks for any help and again sorry for the novel.

I would love to see the 2017 Single Cab Tacoma that you saw at the Dealer, the last time Toyota produced one was 2014, but congrats on the new Truck.

So I've found a couple H11 Lights for my Low Beams (Normal night driving) and fog lights think these would work? Also again what about the High Beams I'm just not finding anything for H9 Bulbs other then basic however they both say H11 (H8/H9) so does that mean they would work for the H9, though from experience in putting an H11 bulb in the H9 it doesn't work/fit.

    For the main lights

    Fog Lights

Thinking of the ones for the normal lights b/c they are brighter then the ones I was original looking at which I'd now just use in the fog light position.

I like star wars but..:annoyed:Slapping a bunch of themed stickers on a Tacoma makes my eyes bleed. I would love to see a good vinyl wrap on the whole truck. Put some clazzio seat covers in and you are well on your way.

Sorry but that doesn't make your truck look better. I hope it for the kids entertainment, but as I can make out a partial license plate I am going to guess that's a no. Have fun at comic con.
