So get ready to slander me in the worst ways possible. Im currently the owner of a 2006 2-wheel drive Toyota Tacoma.. I was trying to save a few bucks when I bought it and I said to myself "it never snows in Seattle" so I opted not to get the 4x4. Needless to say the second the ground was cold that truck couldn't go anywhere. Forget going to the mountains for a ski day that truck barely stays on the road in the rain. If I had a time machine I would go back and slap my past self and get the 4x4. However I do not have a time machine. So instead I have decided to be a present day grown up and buy a "real" mans truck. I basically just drive on roads to and from work, I occasionally want to drive to where the snow is and Im probably never going to tow anything. I do haul loads of dirt or bags of concrete sometimes for house projects.

So my questions are as follows:

    How much should I pay for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Access Cab SR5 V6 Auto 6-speed?
Is the best way to get the lowest price to just start sending emails to all the dealers?
Do I need the V6?(Ive seen the other threads but most people tow things or go off road)
Is the SR5 anything more then chrome bumpers?(Chrome, gross!)

Again I learned my lesson on trying to save a few bucks so Im leaning towards the SR5 and the v6 but I wanted some 'professional' opinions.

    Thanks everybody...
