2017 Transmission problems

    I also use it for the same applications with a good amount of off roading and burned through a clutch alread . Maybe its not the clutch entirely could be that combine with low power causes me to rev up the engine higher than any other mt I've ever driven putting extra stress on the clutch . Either way 1 clutch down and this new 1 doesn't feel any better besides it's not slipping after 9k miles. I do love my truck but for 40k it should definitely be built a little more . Also there's another post I saw on here about some guys clutch going out at 50k miles . Only about 5% of tacomas are made with mt so finding enough instances to convince anybody could be dificult but it happen to me

    2017 Limited double cab
    I had a problem with rough shifting when the tranny was cold, but a TSB fixed it. It now shifts perfectly!
