The muffler on the TRD exhaust is definitely smaller and not larger than the stock muffler, you may be referring to the exhaust tip? The tip really doesn't make any difference and is just for looks. I have the DCLB as well and the difference on startup and driving is definitely noticeable and the tone is deeper/throatier than the stock exhaust, its not overly loud and still quiet enough to not be obnoxious but I think it gives the truck a good amount of growl.

I'm in the process of replacing the muffler and exhaust tip on my Taco 2017 TRD SPORT Inferno , I don't want to spend a lot of money on this and I want the truck to sound louder with a raspy sound but not grossly loud , any advice is appreciated , magnaflow ?

How's the install for TRD exhaust. Can I do it in my garage with jack stands and a ratchet wrench.

I did mine in my driveway with a jack, stands, and an impact driver.
I had to drop the spare to maneuver the old one out and the new one in, but it's a simple job.

    2 bolts
    4 hangers

If I just want to increase truck sound isn't cheaper to just replace muffler and exhaust tip, please advice

Does anyone have a video on the start up sound/outside shots and in cabin driving with just the TRD Performance Catback installed? Or can make one when they're free. Only videos I'm finding are with the CAI installed too.

I have one sitting in my garage debating if I want to install it or not. I have a hatchback with a full magnaflow catback and you can tell I'm coming from down the block. Trying to hear how loud the TRD exhaust is.
