    Interesting. The pins that go to the ECU are locked in place via two forms of retention. I wonder how it managed to become loose.

    Probably some sort of a corrosion messed up the pin contact.
    Good on them. Diag fees are reasonable.

    Possibly. Depends on the pin location though because some are gold plated.

    Well the same thing has happened to me, and I was all excited when I found this post until I got to the end lol. Not feeling super confident now. Just glad it left me stranded around the block from my house and not at Mt Rainier yesterday.
