    Hey guys. I was originally going to go with the Ready-lift SST kit, but I read that wasn't a good option. Then I did some reading on the 5100's with 888 springs and a 1.5" block in the rear. Has anyone done this successfully WITHOUT replacing the UCA's?

    On a second note, I want to keep my stock rims, what's the max tire size I could fit with this setup?

    Anyone with this setup, could you PLEASE post pics????

    Don't do the block unless you want a crappy ride, go with a add a leaf!!!

    Marie's got the answered. Depends on if you go with the 2nd Gen 5100, or the 3rd gen. I having my 2nd gen 5100 with 887 installed today.

    Im going with the AAL. I've heard to many negatives with the blocks. Price is almost the same for a block , or the AAL. I figured id just go with the AAL, and do it right the first time.

    My exact setup! OME 888 coils with Bilstien 5100s set at 0. The ride is great, no regrets! I currently have 275/70 r17 tires, going to 285/70 r17 later this week.

    I don't think it effected the performance very much. However, I lifted the truck within the first couple hundred miles and I may just be used to the bigger tires? I do think the truck has plenty of punch when you need it. Im going up to 285s on Friday, I'll probably re gear to 488s because of gas mileage and better performance then.
