Good afternoon TW. Well after 14 yrs of being a 1st Gen owner, I decided it was time to upgrade to a new 2017 Tacoma TRDOR. When I purchased my truck I opted to have the below upgrades installed by the dealer.

    1. TRD Pro cat-back exhaust
    2. TRD tuned Off-road suspension with 2.5 - in FOX Internal Bypass shocks with rear remote reservoirs
    3. TRD tuned front coil springs and rear leaf springs
    4. TRD Pro 1/4" aluminum front skid plate (black)
    5. Heritage "TOYOTA" front grille
    6. Rigid Industries LED fog lights
    7. 16" TRD Black alloy wheels
    8. Toyo Open County M/T 285
    9. TRD shift knob
    10. TRD floor mats

My question is, with the Fox suspension will I be able to fit a set of 285s without rubbing? None of the parts have been ordered yet so I still have time to make changes. I definitely want the 285s.
Also how does the TRD Pro cat-back exhaust sound?

I'm stoked you got oem fox suspension. Also. I feel SO BAD that you bought oem fox suspension. Bromigo... the suspension components you could have purchased with that money. My heart hurts for you.

You should really just keep your problems to yourself sometimes. This guys is upgrading and you come talking like he made a big mistake. I'm sorry you may have got a defect, but don't spread your woes on everyone's celebration. Poor you, we get it. Go get a lawyer or just stfu.

Actually I provided a link that would answer his question and I didn't mention a single word about a Third Gen problem.

have you seen the price for all of that? it almost certainly will take you well into if not past TRD Pro coinage. I highly highly recommend a different course of action. what you have laid out is one of the least cost effective ways to get what you are after

and to answer your question - no. the 285s will rub.

High dealer costs on Parts. Just like the 4 or 5 other subsequent posts have pointed out.

What's a "heritage TOYOTA front grill"?

Is that dealerspeak for Pro grill?

Wow, not the response I was expecting. Like I said the parts have not been ordered yet so I was looking for some feed back on the Fox suspension on tire size. I can change to a different lift pack if I choose.

As you are aware you can not get the TRD Pro in black, and that is why I went with the black TRD OR. Furthermore I definitely don't feel I need any lube as I got a steel on my truck. With all of the added upgrades I mentioned above I was out the door at just under $37k. Sorry if u guys needed lube.

Sounds like a great deal OP, I paid just over 36K for my OR DCLB and all it had was the tow package added.

Depending on how hard you flex the truck you might get some rubbing with the 285s, if mostly onroad you should be okay with minimal rubbing.

While it was or will be expensive, when Toy accessories are installed at purchase they have the full warranty other than 1 yr or even 90 days for many aftermarket acc. See, there is a silver lining in every dark cloud.

Check out the Clazzio thread if you're interested in getting some leather seat covers that look like the leather seats in the Pro.
