2017 TRD OR- Totaled

Ill sell you mine and deliver it to you personally for 50k. 2020 OR, Fox 2.5 coilovers, rock sliders, full skids, 3,000 dollar sound system, ect! Thats crazy prices up there!

 

Pretty much. The cheapest three I’ve found up here on the lot right now are 45k. A 2017, and two 2018’s. Awhile back, Toyota called me and wanted to buy my truck back because they had no inventory.

 

If the cheapest they go for is 45k get as much as you can for it and just ship one up from Washington for a couple grand. I got my 2020 OR for 32k right during the pandemic. I scored compared to the prices now. Plus I was living in NH at the time so I didnt pay sales tax either.

 

Shit i was just looking them up and damn they are crazy prices in Anchorage(idk where you are) and your right the are 45k for anything under 50k miles. I thought CA prices were bad lol! What makes them so expensive?

 

Yep. I live about an hour north of Anchorage. That’s where I originally bought my truck. I just want a fair deal, nothing more nothing less.

 

Start sending the adjuster listings from places. Insurance companies take comps of the vehicles around. Dont settle under 45k and demand they find you 3 of them for 40k. Which they wont be able to.

 

You need to play offense right now and not just wait and see. They already totaled the car so you have a lot more leverage than you think.

 

I got the adjusters supervisors info, and had the person in charge of the overall claim send him an email. I uploaded screenshots of all the comps I could find and all my receipts for my modifications. I do something similar for a living, so I started to smell the BS pretty quickly.

I didnt know you could insure your after market parts. Is there a certain plan you need to add on? Or just tellem what you got and show reciepts?

 

Not sure every agency does it. All I had to do was tell them the dollar amount of all my stuff and they increased my premium based on the truck being worth that extra amount. There were a few stipulations, don’t remember what they were exactly. They’d only cover up to a certain lift height, tire size, etc.

 

Oh ok you got this then. I do workers comp and if you think insurance companies are stingy on vehicles they are way way more stingy on peoples injuries.
