    Hello Taco Forum,

I hit a deer last night in my 2017 TRD Pro. Not hard. Just enough to break off a bunch of the stock plastic bumper cover and tweak the driving light.

    Time for a bumper upgrade.

I'm looking for suggestions. I don't need anything with skulls and crossbones or iron crosses already carved into the metal. Nothing too disco or overly macho. I'd prefer to bolt on. No cutting and welding please.

Stout though is important. This was just the first deer....

In an ideal world - the bumper would have a front hitch receiver as well (but not necessary).

Any suggestions from you experts out there? Please do let me know.

Thanks in advance for the help.

sounds like you want a bull bar, not a bumper.

Any good bumper option will require cutting factory plastic

Ah... thanks. I'm good with cutting the plastic. It's already cut up a bit from the deer!

My apologies - I'd prefer not to cut metal and weld. My MIG skills are pretty sad.

    Thanks again.

The deer hit you and not you hit the deer never admit liability should you decide to put it thru your collision insurance.

I hit another one a while back with the C4 bumper. 60 mph. Bent the Baja bracket. Took it like a champ.

I myself am a big fan of Lil b’s hybrid bumper, I think it looks much better than a lot of the other ones out there. I have a TRD pro too, and would like to purchase well, but I don’t know how well front suspension can hold up the weight.
