Yeah for some reason TFLtruck removed the video. The article is no longer up on their website either. Not sure why.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
For those who watched it....what happened and what did they say

The truck performed pretty well. It made it to the top of the trail. The only negative things they said about was that they wished it had a front locker and better tires. They mentioned ko2s.

Thanks. I don't really take those guys seriously as far as real off-roading goes. But I'm curious why they dumped the vid and article. Either accidentally released too early or maybe they pissed off Toyota or something...

For those of you that missed the video.

They make it up, but it does get stuck in some spots. Proper off road tires would solve those issues I think.

I dont think that video showed anything a standard offroad model could have done. it has the same locker and crawl control.

It also didn't look like they aired down the tires. Roman isn't the best driver offroad.

Yeah it seemed like they didn't air down. Also I read in the comments somewhere that when Roman first used crawl control when it was making that weird noise that he left the parking brake on.

I agree it doesn't seem like Roman knows what he is doing. Nathan should have drove from the get go.

The light for the parking brake was on as he was going up for a brief period.

I bet Chevy was pissed and they paid to have it taken down so that video wouldn't hurt their sales.

Wish I could have seen this. When you use crawl control on the lower settings in makes some crazy noises because of the way it's regulating the engine. It sounds like your engine is about to come apart. On the higher settings it doesn't do it.

Do the noises sound like brakes squealing when they're going out? Because that is what is sounded like.

IDK why they went with such shit tires for the TRD pro. For such a price tag, it should come with a proper damn tire.

Emission/MPG testing I'd imagine, they expect the owners to chuck them like many of us do. I took a huge hit when I switched out for LT tires.
