To each his own. If you want the pro and can afford it then get it, as for me my TRDOR does all I need it to do.

The suspension is the only thing worth buying IMO

Me too, I was expecting the running boards they have now, similar to the Raptor running boards. They don't seem to affect ground clearance as much as the predator steps.

You all say this will be hot and I can't wait to see on in person but if they sell as soon as they hit lot would they not make more of them. I'm say in January are you not going to see one just waiting to be sold. I'm sure at this high price most will go with lower model.

I think part of the "value" or "perceived value" anyways is the fact that there is a limited number of them produced. Kind of a supply vs. demand thing. Toyota charges and makes a premium for the vehicle but my guess is they still make the largest profit margin on their TRD Sports

Were the 2nd Gen Pros all that desirable? I remember seeing a few here languishing on the lots last year, even a few in the used lots recently. Nobody seemed too interested in buying them as they were sitting next to similarly priced Tundras.

That and you can actually do a better suspension job than they are selling.

That's what I was thinking when I was comparing a few 15s and 16s, drove a 15 pro in white, liked it quite a bit but couldn't get around the price and I wanted a longbed.

I was at camelback yesterday for my 10k service and asked one of the sales guys when they were expecting to get a 2017 tacoma in... he replied with "wow I didn't know the 2017's were being built yet".
