A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
Ok so in short the answer is 16 Tacos have a type A diff, mine has a type B. The gears and locker don't fit bc it's smaller, too new, and no parts for it yet. My trucks been in the shop since March 21st trying to resolve the issue. Nitro gears has stepped up to the plate along with Sparks Toyotas parts team and now my diffs/axles are being shipped to Nitro!

You can fit 33's without a cab mount chop.... just some very minor inner fender trimming.

love how my Pro rides,, i have 265/75/16 toyo open country's on it, and i can see there is plenty of room for 33's without hitting cabmount, but would need some plastic trimming...but im going to get some 275/70/17's for it soon, alittle taller and wider than my toyo's... and put them on my Grey pro-sema rims i bought a few weeks ago, it will have a differant look, i think the grey will look great with the cement color...

Well, that's exciting news. The 2Gen Tacos needed a cab mount chop as well....

I'm just referring to the Pros, not any others. I sure do miss my 2nd gen though

I figured since the Pro comes with a 1.5" lift from the factory. I'll probably do the full OME suspension on my 3rd Gen like I had on my 2nd Gen so the 285 should be a problem.

The only thing I don't like about the 3rd Gen is how long the front end is. The Relentless Fab bumper insert seems to fix that though. I wonder if it's just the 'chin' on these trucks that make it look excessively long.

its both the chin and the fact that the front grill sits about 12" from the radiator. Just wasted space.

Unfortunately can't do much about the radiator though.

Radiator is in a good spot, why they choose to put the grill 12" in front of it makes no sense to me. They could move the whole engine and drivetrain forward an inch and increase cabin room. Thats why so many of us have winches in between the grill and radiator.

Doesn't it have something to do with crumple zones?

Doubtful, theres nothing in there to crumple other than a plastic grill.

EDIT: I guess it kind of worked out though because it allowed all of us to install hidden winches and lower profile bumpers. ARB didnt get the memo on their bumper design.

Who makes the low profile bumpers?

EDIT: Never Mind, I didn't realize Relentless Fab was calling their bumper insert a low profile winch bumper.

A day late and a dollar short as usual, but 33's don't rub on the cab mount, but then again it depends on the tire and the offset of the wheel. Some minor plastic trimming should be all you need to do.

I read the first and last page (I am not reading through all this) but why am I getting the feeling this is an image build and not a functionality build? OP maybe hits a muddy parking lot on occasion I guess and would have preferred a decked out Raptor but settled for the TRD Pro on his budget. Add level, KO2's, winch and lights and become envy of neighborhood dads...

For those saying a spacer changes the ride are correct if it is a pre-load spacer, the top or bottom mounts don't (no changing of spring or shock rates).

I am with others, leave it stock height and upsize tires. The winch insert is necessary only if you are actually going to use it, otherwise that money can be much better spent (not to mention save your front end from the added weight and mpg's).
