Tyler, you are right that I will not be taking this truck off-road a lot. I just want to have the capability, if needed, b/c I may have to move and drive cross country for my job. I would like to do a little off-roading, but not enough to wear out the truck. You're wrong about the Raptor part, I have had 4 Tacomas and liked all the features and color this model came with. From my research, the insert should not add too much weight to affect the mpgs that much. I appreciate the advice and input -- I will be adding bigger tires and heat gunning/trimming the fender flares, if needed. We shall see...

Caleb, thanks for the reply. Which would you recommend? I'm not a hard core off-roader, so it would only be used if I got in a jam.

Also, on another note, I saw your post on hood scoop lights -- I found a guy that spoke highly of C4 that specializes in hood scoop lights just in case you get asked again - Spartanxcustoms (Instagram). Cool dude and he does good work. I'll post pics once I get it done.

I know this is off topic but if any one is looking for a 2017 Cement TRD Pro there is one sitting on the for sale lot at Toyota of Elizabeth City. I'm honestly surprised its still sitting on the lot.
