2017 Trd Pro order confirmed today

I too live closer to JH and I actually purchased my wifes rav4 from them. Had a great experience and got an excellent deal. I really wanted to get a Tacoma from them too, but no such luck. I am not knocking on them, I guess I just had more expectations buying a second vehicle from them a year later, but this is not the place to get into all of that. The main focus here is OP is gonna get a Pro and I will get to see him driving around town.

 

Haha, right! I keep looking for his inferno riding around town. That's a very distinct truck.

The tundra is just too big. If they put the a v8 or a diesel in a Tacoma they would kill the tundra sales. I like that my Tacoma fits in the garage.

Right down the street, I'm surprised I haven't seen your truck yet. You commented on one of my post when I first got my Tacoma on the Cajun Yota FB page. I'm the ops manager for USAL.

 

Silver I am just waiting for the dealer to confirm the order. They told me it should be about a week or two. I am not sure why they want me to put a 500.00 deposit down. They are getting a allocation of several 2017 tacomas and one of them will be my configuration Before I give them 500.00 should I request a VIN number and policy for refundable deposit. I never brought a new truck like this

 

That's a normal process but I would want verification that Toyota has accepted the order. They should be able to provide a spec sheet with the temp vin on it.

 

No temp vin. They will get a allocation and sequence #

When I had my truck on order this is what they gave me. It lists the temp vin

 

You will do it, like me. I think that makes 13 2016 Trade in so far on this forum alone

I'm liking the Tundra TRD PRO in cement! I would love to see them bring the power sliding rear window back i the DC TRD PRO, I see they are putting it on the Tacoma TRD PRO!

I am putting 17" SCS Ray10's and BFG KO2's on my 2016 Tacoma, who knows I maybe give it to the wifey if not trade in!
