2017 TRD PRO review/compare..Warning PIC HEAVY

OK so here's a question. Will the headlights and tail lights from the 2017 TRDpro plug n play into a 2016 TRD?

 

Seriously! Why not the same rims from the TRD Pro 4 Runner and some Duratracs?

 

Even el cheapo steelies would be better, then you could just put decent wheels on after you got it home.

 

Think it would be worth putting that suspension on the Sport?

What would it run me?

 

That Pro blows compared to your 16. Keep the 16, add the leather you want, and BAM!!! That truck is so over rated it not even funny. I do like the color though.

 

I have to know what kind of fender flares are on the 2016 sport?? More pictures??

 

My 17 came with a power tailgate lock. I'd guess the Pro has the same. Also the key does lock the glove box and tailgate now.

 

I just picked up my 2017 TRD OR and the "tailgate key" is cut the same as the key in the fob. I tested both in the glove box and the tailgate, and the key in the fob will work to unlock the tailgate.

Nice! Do they fit as good as factory fender flares fit? And where did you get them painted to be exactly the same color?

 

I was thinking of getting them for my White 2016 Tacoma but I asked there sales if I could buy black screws instead of their silver ones, I want to leave no chrome of sider on my truck, just Black n White!

 

I want that damn shifter knob. The cement color really is the hotness though. Still don't understand why they put the same stock tires on it.

I would like wider fender flares for mine but I hate the bolted look. Would rather have a clean surface. Those look a lot better than most though.

 

Do the '17s have a power locking tailgate standard??

 

That sucks about the key being laser engraved. You can get a copy of a regular key for $2 at lowes but when it comes to getting a copy of a laser engraved key it's usually over $100.

But great review OP! Would love to see a video review if possible but nonetheless great info
