I bought a set of 5. they'll go on in the spring with new rubber once the snow wheels/tires come off. they are going on my 2nd Gen, so I guess it doesn't count.

I too have been browsing the blogs and numerous listings for all kinds of TRD wheels, including the new '17 Pro model. I want to ditch the factory wheels from my '16 Off Road (16 inch). What I find concerns me slightly. The 16 inch wheels from the new Pro are nice and I would like to hang on to my Wrangler Kevlars until they wear out, which could be a while based on tread wear so far. The issue is the offset on all these wheels versus the stock offset on mine (25mm). The Pro model has a 13mm offset and the 17 inchers from the 4Runner have an offset of only 4mm. Getting the 17s would also prompt new tires into the equation. From the tech specs on they illustrate different wheel and tire positions within the wheel well when compared to stock. That site is very useful in seeing how different wheel and tire combinations vary from stock. Should I be concerned about tires hanging past the fender well? I see some trucks on the road that look absolutely ridiculous that way and I won't do that to my Tacoma. The specs also reference "scrub radius" changes that could affect handling. Am I concerned for no reason? Any experience out there with any issues in putting on different offset wheels? How about pics of wheel mods to Gen 3 Tacomas? Also trying to stick with genuine Toyota wheels. Would consider other alternatives depending on quality. Thanks for any and all inputs.

I didn't want to start a new thread. So I am going to hijack this old one. There is a seller on Ebay (I'm not sure if its okay to post ebay links on TW so I am intentionally leaving it off.) that has a set of 4 for sale NIB for $599 shipped. Seems to good to be true. Thoughts? Anyone recognize or done business with a seller named "Wheelsplus" on Ebay?

They are knock offs. The whee specs are incorrect for OEM and the title says TRD “style” wheels

Wait for one of the E-Bay Coupons to pop up and then snag a set, that has been how I have purchased several things for the truck.

Yep that's what I have been doing as well. I feel like there has been a 15% coupon at least once a month lately.

That might be the only way to get a “deal” on these wheels specifically. All the legit players on Ebay and even the local dealers seem to be in lock step on the pricing for these.

For some there is the option to wait for a pro owner to ditch theirs. I really don’t want anyone’s takeoffs. I guess I’m picky.

Would like to see these on a tacoma. Do they stick out more than factory 17's. I am getting sick of the roller skate look. Need them pushed out a bit.

Is there a difference between TRD Pro wheels and 4 Runner wheels? Are they interchangeable? Looking for a OEM set for my 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport..

The main difference I've seen are the TRD Pro Tacoma wheels (2016-2019) are 16"X7" and the TRD Pro "SEMA" wheels (4Runner) are 17"X7". There are finish differences where I've only seen the TRD Pro Tacoma in glossy black and the SEMA seem to have a variety of colors/finishes but I could be wrong. It looks like the 2020 Tacoma Pro wheels have been redesigned but it still looks as if they are 16X7"

I've been looking at all the options as well and finally decided on the TRD Pro SEMA wheels when I get new tires in the next couple of month.

There are threads here on TW in regards to offsets if you are interested in that. Oh yeah forgot to mention these are OEM sizes.

Thanks for clearing that up ....My stock TRD sport wheels are 17" so Im thinking I'll stay there and do the same as you plan to.. also need to level this thing out with some Bilstein 5100's and maybe go with a taller tire.. Nothing too aggressive. first Tacoma so trying to figure all this *#it out..
