Whatever you do, don’t buy from eBay. If you look thru the threads about the kits, many people were receiving sketchy kits from eBay and one “reputable” seller was sending the Baja kits instead of the listed pro kits

Did the dealer in Phoenix give you a price? I just found a set in TX, they want 1399.

They want over $1300. I prefer the $650-$700 range.

That's way to high. guess they realize they have some of the last remaining sets. If you bought just the Bilstein 5160 and the 6112s from any dealer that is probably about the same price. I wouldn't do it for that much.

I bough the last set at Mesa Toyota in Phoenix. I paid $700 + $51 shipping.

Looks like I'm going to have to settle for the 5100's. I've called just about every dealer in the United States in the last 10 minutes, and unless I want to shell out $1300 (which I don't) .

MSRP is about $680, but the dealers tell me that this price drop happened this week, and prior to that the MSRP was $1300 so if they bought them prior to the price drop, they can't come down. Seems odd, as they are discontinued so no dealer has bought extras at the reduced price. I call BS.

Definitely BS. The Price Drop Started in late January. Then everyone started ordering them. I think the original price for the kit as $1800. They were initially going as low as $560 but started edging up and demand spike and supply became limited.

If your interested in a lightly used set of 5100s let me know. I will have them off in a week. They will come with Springs, top hats and fully assembled so they will be just bolt on. No spring compressors necessary.

Ya that’s bs, cause when they first drop the price, so did dealerships. I know cause I called Bryan among other Toyota dealerships within 250 miles from me.

Bryan just quoted me $1399. Told me that that's what the parts manager wants them listed at. I asked about selling at double MSRP and was told the dealers can make thier own prices. Wow. I've heard of selling below MSRP but never ABOVE. Hey, this Tacoma is $65,000 even though MSRP is $34,000. Why, because we can.

MSRP is just suggest. Also, many peopls are getting it wrong even toyota, MSRP does not change. It should stay the same from when it first came out. Listing price is the thing that changes (Toyota changed their listing price/retail price). Again that is just suggestion, and then you have asking price, which is the price you would pay. Most of the time, the asking price is higher. Heck my truck MSRP was 38k and I got it for 39.5k the dealership asking price at first was 42k which was average in my area(I played the system and got way more for my trade-in: 3k more than what bluebook said for excellent, since I know how dealerships work from an insider).

The trucks around my area are normally 3-5k more than MSRP cause they are in high demand (more trucks than cars here). Many people know listing price as market price or market value.

Sorry for the business lesson lol, I got bored =p. I’m an investor with a business degree so I like talking prices haha.

    Numbers make me angry.

Going to go with the 5100's and the EMU 2885's. Still going to be much better than stock, price is great, and they are available everywhere.
