Not sure If anybody has made this thread yet, so I decided to start one. Check this out for info, http://toyotanews.pressroom.toyota.com/releases/2016+chicago+auto+show+tacoma+trd.htm

My immediate thoughts were,(1) This tuck gives me a boner. (2) Why doesn't it come with a supercharger? A boost in power is really what a truck of this caliber needs.(3) I wish they installed a light bar instead of just fog lights.(4) The move to fox suspension was awesome. (5) will those tail lights be available to purchase?

Well its been a while since any of those threads were active. I think its looks better than previous versions. Was wondering what other peoples opinions were.

Me too, but I don't think we need yet another 2017 TRD Pro thread

It's not an unattractive truck. And I very much like the availability of a manual transmission.

But a double-cab short bed? What a waste.

I will admit they definitely upped the game on the suspension. Don't like how the grill sticks out though, or the wheels

Shit, buy a Tundra. Really, if you need more power and room, the Tundra is your answer. Gotta say, it's a great choice for some folks.

Exactly, too big, too heavy, worse approach and departure angles. Wouldn't mind 400Ib ft of torque though.

I like a few things on this truck, and I'm sure as time goes on you can buy the parts for this and just swap them with the current 2016's. The tail lights and head lights are something I might consider swapping out later, as I'm not confident enough in baking the lights to do this.

The cement color isn't too bad, probably looks better in person vs. the showroom floor.

The grill... I can't stand it, it sticks out way too far for me, but it could easily be replaced with an after market one if the need arose. I'm guessing there will be a few of these grills for sale as time goes on.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
All that suspension with road tires.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Cement looks awesome in the pictures, defiantly can't wait to see it in person.

I don't like how Toyota isn't centered on the grill.
I also think the badges on the door look tacky.

The difference between this thread and all the other threads in regards to the TRD Pro is the hood scoop is functional on this one!:notsure::D
