    Hey guys,

I'm looking for recommendations on which dealership you guys recommend for purchasing a 2017 TRD Pro. I've contacted Ventura and Oxnard Toyota multiple times and they have not even bothered responding to my emails or calls (probably because the car isn't on the lot). I really hate dealing with salespeople, so I'm looking for a pain free experience where they give me the bottom line price and I pay them cash for the truck. No need to deal with the financing BS and just straight to the paperwork so I can start enjoying my new car.

I'm located in Santa Barbara, but wouldn't mind driving as far as San Diego.

    Thanks

I don't think any dealer will sell you a truck they don't have in stock... They will take a deposit any day of the week thou.

That I understand, but at least return my VMs or emails to let me know I need to put down a deposit?

They probably get 20 calls a day on the Pro and some of those are folks stroking the dealership, I'd try walking in in-person with your serious proposition and you should yield better results. If not I would apply that same effort until you find a dealer that will except. I had to go to multiple dealerships until I secured my Pro so I'm sharing first hand my efforts to get what I want. Hope that helps.

Talk to the "Fleet sales manager". They will be straight to the point because there is no commission involved. Ordering a truck is not a hassle for them. When I was looking for my 2005 Tacoma, there were no 4x4 DCLB in southern California anywhere. So they had to special order it from Fremont, CA. I had to wait something like 4 months but I got the truck that I wanted in June of 2005. It also helped that I worked for a major motorcycle company at the time and Toyota is their sister company. Give it a try. Bypass those lot sharks and speak to the Fleet Sales Manager. Call them up and explain your dilemma and see where it goes. All of my negotiations were strictly over the phone. The first time I met the manager was when I was signing the papers on my truck and she handed my the keys. Good luck.

I got mine at the beginning of June from Moss Bros, they had a lot of added crap that I wasn't having it so they took it off and knocked done the "market value" quite a bit. If you're still looking try reaching out to Javier at Moss Bros, he's the internet sales guy and he'll tell you if he has one coming in

Big Two in Chandler AZ was easy to work with and sells for MSRP. Highly recommend! I flew out on Sunday and picked her up. Drove her back to San Diego that day. Awesome little road trip!

I saw some at both Ventura Toyota and Oxnard Toyota a few weeks ago. I would just stop in there, either one. They sell a ton of Tacomas out of both locations.

EDIT: Oops, just noticed how old the original post was.

Both of those dealerships change $5-10k markups.
