2017 TRD Sport v. TRD Off-Road Differences?

    Dude, that is super helpful. If I'm going through mud do I want to switch to TRAC OFF? What about snow/ice?

    My vote is yes, or if deep, then L4 (with A-TRAC or MTS turned on if you have the Off Road TRD, of course).

    I have a 2010 and the 2009-2011 Tacomas where normally in the 'TRAC OFF mode', except there was no button pushing and it was simply called TRAC those years (in H4). So, to me, it makes more sense in 4WD to have the better-limited slip, normally.

    For some reason, for 2012, Tacoma deemed it necessary to add one more drive mode choice, so it matched up with H2 in having three selections (Light Trac, Strong Trac, No Trac). I guess the engineers thought if conditions don't always need it, then take it out or make it selectable?
