    Thanks! You're very welcome!

So how are you liking your new fogs?

So far I'm really liking them. The Morimoto fogs match the color of the LED DRLs perfectly! Today I drove around with just the DRLs and Fogs on, and looked really nice. I also have the Morimoto Elite HID kit as well and they pair nicely with each other. Extremely happy with the install!

Oh! I didnt know you could run the fogs without the headlights!

I had to mod all my previous cars to be able to do that.

Ya you can. Just turn your lights on one click past the DRL switch, then your dash lights and screens will go dim, then turn on your fog lights. This will turn your DRLs on and Fogs on, keeping your headlights off.

Got it! I usually just leave it in auto, that's probably why I never noticed being able to do this.

So you have the premium pkg? I don't have that package so I don't have auto lights :(

Yeah have the premium package on mine.
Haha I never thought I would use it; always thought it was for lazy people. But now that I have it ... its not bad.
Guess its still better than rain sensing wipers.

Went from the top of the engine bay as some did. Highly suggested if you're able to squeeze your forearm inside. Took about 3-4 minutes each side. Nothing to unscrew except for the foglight itself.

The wiring colors that @DarkestCon used was exactly the same as my 2017 trd or, no premium package. White-black and green-red

Just installed my Morimoto Fog Lights! Pretty easy install. Removed the Grill and installed from the top. Can confirm as well that Green goes to Red and Black goes to White. Not sure if my light adjustment level is correct so if anyone could confirm that would be helpful!

    First is Stock Fog Lights:
    IMG_6567.jpg

This is the Morimoto's installed with no adjustments. The bottom of the tape is where the top of the stock light cut off from the previous picture:
    IMG_6569.jpg

Now this is after I made the adjustment and move the Morimoto's top of the light to the bottom of the tape:
    IMG_6570.jpg

Would you say that's the correct level or do I need to make adjustments? I appreciate your help! HID are next upgrade!

sorry but you guys that are going to all that trouble taking grills off and trim under the fenders, you didnt need to do that. i spent 5 mins per light going in from the bottom. ive got a 2013, so maybe its different from the new ones but i found it to be sooooo easy. just reach up and turn 2 screws.

FYI it is very easy to do from the top without even removing the grille. There is plenty of space to reach your arm down and un-clip the harness and remove the one screw. Very simple and quick method.

Just installed a set yesterday on my TRD Sport, and it is a lot brighter than the stock fogs. The light is more 'focused' if you want to say.

I installed a set on mine as well. Yes the light is more focused and makes a solid beam across. I like them much better than stock.

The fogs match really well with our DRL strip! Looks very aggressive at night.

I installed mine yesterday by going through the fender well. Wish I would have seen this thread first :frusty: Would have been much easier to take off the grill or just go through the top.

    Anyway, here are some photos.
My concern is that when sitting in the driver seat, I am unable to actually see the light when its on unless i lean forward enough to see over the hood.
Is this a good level to have them at? They cut off just below where the low beam hits.

I would raise them up to get rid of the dark space directly under the headlights, just to the point where the light from the fogs is just touching the light from the headlights.

No kidding! My headlights were down for a few days, and in a pinch I was able to get away with running just these fogs. Plus with my lift they were at the same level as the low beams. :D
